Hand Dyed Prim Papers and Ribbons

I'm busy hand dyeing ribbons and cardstock in the studio. The colors are soft and vintage inspired. The ribbons are in two different batches. One batch is prim and pink while the other batch has a hint of green. Both are dyed using hand mixed non toxic tints and they are color safe. The top picture shows the pale prim green ribbon. Below is the prim pink dyed ribbon. Both are crinkly and yummy.
I also dyed a big batch of cardstock just for fun. The papers turned out wonderful with a very aged water stained look. The colors coordinate with the ribbons because I used the same color tint.
The paper is naturally dried and pressed, cut into 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" squares as well as paper tag stacks 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" and wrapped with 4 yards chunky butchers twine. You can punch your own holes, stamp, sew, or embellish these anyway you like. They make great gift tags for any occasion!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It has been a while since I posted anything and I hope to spend a little more time sharing some handmade items and tutorials. Pease let me know what you think and share a comment if you will. Every visit is much appreciated!
